Now they want to silence Rush!

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

My sister was mostly up in arms over President Bush’s passing of the Patriot Act.  She was so worried her freedoms were being taken away.  Of course, she hated President Bush like the rest of the liberal left.  In any event, now we have a government in place that really does want to take away our freedoms.  Some how, this doesn’t bother my sister at all.  I didn’t know freedom was right or left?  I guess freedom is in the eye of the beholder.

The people in the majority scare me.  They have thrown around the idea of the fairness act.  Of course, there would be nothing fair about it. It would only moniter radio, where left radio has failed miserably.  It is the one outlet where they left can’t spew its propoganda.

Last week, President Obama told the right if they were to get along they needed to stop listening to Rush.  Although the tank, the left media, is trying to tell us he was kidding, he was not!  Rush is no fad,  he has over 20million listners and has owned the radio waves for years.  Now the democrats have a petition to sign about one’s out rage at Rush’s comment not wanting Obama to succeed.  How come there isn’t a place on that petition for those of us who agree to sign in with comments?

Of course, his words are taken out of context.  There are millions of us that agree with Rush.  Of course, we are not  talking about the man, Barack, failing but his policies!  We are against left liberal ideology, the idea of bigger  government and socialist policies.

Over the past 8 years, the left turned disagreeing with its government into an art.  They felt free to spew hate on a daily basis for our President and wish him failures.  They railroaded the man and his cabinet.  Now over night, we are all suppose to shut up and get along.  I find this so disturbing on so many levels I can’t find the right words to describe.  The worst part is there are some who are being bullied by this outrageous demand.  I live in America and I don’t have to like nor agree with my President.  I too hope his policies fail.

By the way, Getting along is over rated.  This is especially true if you have to leave your principles at the door.

Trying to silence someone like Rush is impinging on my freedoms.  Why aren’t the same people that believed President Bush was trying to take their freedoms away up in arms over this? It doesn’t matter if you like Rush or not it is about a basic freedom, free speech.

Freedom is freedom it isn’t left or right.  The media, biased left, has had a strong hold  on us for far too long.  We need to start uniting as Americans not left or right.  Do we want bigger government taking away our freedoms and money?!  Get the sleep out of your eyes.  Don’t be OK with this petition for Rush because it is trying to silence a man.  This is America not the third Reich.  You may think that is a leap but that regime started by slowly taking away basic freedoms.  Know your history or it can happen again!

Obama’s skin is thin and it is time for Republicans to say ENOUGH!

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

What I notice about Barack’s skin is it’s thin!  I find his comments on Rush not only objectionable but frightening.  He is now telling Republicans who they can and can’t listen to?  Is this man for real?

I quote:  President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration. “You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

This man’s skin is so thin and he shows us every time he whines about right radio and the likes of Rush and Hannity.  If you can’t stand the heat, you have no business being in the kitchen!  Instead of tolerating different ideas, he wants to silence them.  This is more in line with regime thinking.  Also, as far as I am concerned, although the left would have you think different, the left is the creator of partisan politics.  From the minute Bush came on the scene until he left, all we heard was vile and hateful speech towards our country and our President.

In the last 2 years the democrats have been in the majority yet the American people still have blamed Bush for all ills. This has been brought about by left propaganda which many Americans have happily swallowed.  There is no right attack machine but it is time to get one going!  Enough of the left badgering and bullying it is time to fight back.  The outlets have reported skewed information for so long they wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them on the ass.  All they have done is point fingers at Bush and his cabinet without giving equal time to the corruption and ill adviced practices going on with the left.

Now, we have Barack in office telling the Right we need to turn off Rush in order to get along.  Well, I for one don’t play that way!  I found out this last year getting along is over rated.  If you have to leave half yourself or your beliefs at the door in order to get along with someone they are not worth getting along with!   We have placated the bully for 8 years and it is time to say NO!  So all conservatives out there get your lips in position because our new rally cry is ENOUGH!

Government works for us not the other way around!

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

I don’t work for President Obama actually he works for me.  The government represents the people not the other way around.  It seems when Obama speaks he is telling me how I will start to conduct myself, what I will invest my time and money in and I am expected to back his agenda.  I say a resounding NO to that!  I will not have a government, corrupt at that, moralizing to me and showing me the “way”.  I will conduct myself how I see fit.  I don’t believe in victims and I don’t believe that my hard earnings should be shared by the government.  I will decide what is right for my country and then I will demand those I elected to represent my voice.  Government has forogtten its place.

Americans make this country great not the government.  Americans also should be deciding the future of this country not government.  True the government stopped representing us a long time ago but it is time to take our power back!  As President Obama continues to convince you that he and his cohorts hold the power listen to the still small voice.   This voice will remind you that your power is within and comes from something greater then yourself.  This power does not look the President who is suppose to be representing our will.

Both parties have been too busy greasing their palms and representing their special interest groups.  It is time for us Conservatives to take back our party.  Don’t give the Republican party one more dime until they start representing us.  Most Americans want the border problems solved with illegals being sent back home.   Americans mostly did not agree with the bail out and wanted no part of it.   Most Americans want to feel safe from terrorists and want our military to have the funding to keep us that way.  Most Americans want those coming to our country to speak English and have the same love of this nation we do.   Our party needs to Wake up and we need to demand it!  We have 2 years folks lets get our act together.

I am not gaga for Obama

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

Historical fact:  Adams did not attend Jeffersons inaugration and did not wish him well.   He left town the night before.  His son was also ill and one of the reasons for his depature.  We are a two party system, most likely becoming 3.  Politics is politics.  It isn’t anything more or less.  Sorry, but President Obama does not change that.  He is a politician no savoir.    Yesterday the 44th President was sworn in that is all.

Of course, those who voted for Obama were gaga about yesterday and the rest of us tolerated it.  Let us not forget 57 million people did not vote for him.  Of course, the hypocricy of the left doesn’t help.  Not only are we in an economic crisis, but the media bashed President Bush mercilessly 4 years ago for spending $40 million.   Obama spent $170 million yesterday yet that was no big deal.  If the media does not  start doing its job again, we are in big trouble.

My biggest concern is the lefts inablitiy to discuss facts.  All my siblings voted for Obama.  It concerns me that when I try to discuss facts they get very angry or tell me the conversation is over.  Kind of like Al Gore’s edict on Global Warming.  Why is the left so afraid of honest discourse?  One should be able to discuss facts and support them.  The left seems to be guided by emotion and condescend instead of discussing.   They also demand that we all be one now, get on board with Obama, his ideas and programs.  Yet, these same people that claim we are the world we are the children, booed President Bush yesterday.  I guess we are all one as long as we become Obamaphites.  No thanks I am not interested.

Our government deserves scrutiny whether it be a majority to the left or right.  We the people should be united on our belief of representation for the common man not special interest groups.  We are not to be lemmings lead by one man.  That was not what our founding fathers had in mind.  If you are expecting your government to heal your ills, you will be sorely disappointed.  Big government only sucks the life and energy out of us.   It is free commerce and individual thought that keeps us going.  Ask yourself why entreperneural tactics worked for Obama in raising all of his money yet he is telling you that only government can save you.
