Get Out of the Norm

If Al Franken can win a senate seat, then really we get what we deserve! I guess we have become a Nation of morons who don’t understand the blood and sweat our forefathers gave to create the best country in the world? We have become a disgrace to their hard work. Obama isn’t a defender of our precious constitution and is more worried about how Europe sees us then our own integrity. It is time to get tough in this country. Every single person should have to serve in the military for at least 2 years, instead of having to take a second language they should have to take 4 years of American History, Political Science and write a thesis on why this country is so great! We are losing our precious America so we better wake up before it is too late! Get educated not by the left but by books like John Adams and learn the life of Lincoln. It isn’t to late yet!

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read Vote Obama, I need the money. I laughed.

Once in the restaurant my server had on an Obama 08 tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server, I explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need. The homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed off.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn. This was even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago. Of course, they’re all blaming
each other!

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cook County
(Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look ‘em up if you
want).
Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois.. And
he’s gonna ‘fix’ Washington politics for us! Wake Up America!

My spiritual goal for the week is to keep it simple. That also is in line with our lives and politics. I think we need to go back to basics. Small government, strong spirituality and a confident America. We need to focus on God and trust in him. The motto of the dollar is In God We Trust! Lets not forget that we are a blessed nation and it is by the sweat of our brows. From the inception of this country we have been hard workers that believed in freedom for all. This mirrors the teachings of Christ. We are all responsible for ourselves and how we treat our fellow man. Love thy self then you can love your neighbor!

This week I will keep it simple from the foods I eat, to the prayers I say to the country I love
